Volunteers are critical to the success of the 6th Annual Virginia State EAA Fly-In. We would like to request your participation in this years event, which will again be held at the Dinwiddie County Airport on September 7th and 8th 2002.
Scott Crossfield, the first man to fly twice the speed of sound, will show his X-15 slide presentation at our Virginia State EAA Fly-in Volunteer Dinner on September 7. This dinner is notto the public and is considered a private party for those people who volunteer at the State Fly-in, September 7 and 8. The dinner will be held in the corporate hangar where we have the pancake breakfast Saturday and Sunday.
Along with Scott's presentation, volunteers that have worked at least four hours for the fly-in will receive a free spagetti dinner (salad, bread and dessert) and be eligible for the drawing of gifts for the volunteers.
Please decide to volunteer, print out the form and mail it back to , the volunteer coordinator or complete the automatic on-line form.
If you have an orange fly-in volunteer hat or vest - please bring it with you. Questions may be directed to at or via e'mail.
When you arrive at the fly-in please check in at the Volunteer Tent (near the base of the communications tower) and register with the volunteer coordinator.
